REVOLUTION in REVERSE (ep2)
CONTROL: A Violent System Closes the Imagination
(in progress)
Control is part of our daily life. Economic, bureaucratic, legislative, executive, mental, information, health, education, market, food, natural resources, privacy control … this is the environment that surrounds us, this what we see and we experience every day.
This situation creates violence in different forms: individuals live oppressed under the weight of their own financial, bureaucratic and personal difficulties; the resources of the planet, the oceans, the lands, the animals are exploited without criteria damaging the whole ecosystem; social racial sexual religious discriminations are everywhere; the labor-market / men-market is based on unbridled and bearish competition; the populations of most of the planet do not feel represented by their own governments, regimes or dictatorships; protests and spontaneous aggregations are repressed …
We live in extremely violent society, based on control.
As a consequence, since we learn from what we see and what we experience, many people can not even imagine a free society based on cooperation, collaboration and sharing.
To open the imagination, it is necessary to show an alternative, to show that relationships not based on violence are not only possible, but exist and have also existed in the past.
